Today is the seventh year wedding anniversary of the marriage of Authrine Elizabeth Burton and Christopher Luketon John Dryden. That marriage has been based on a love supreme. (So why didn’t I put that track on, eh? Wait for it.) that love is one that goes beyond affection and domestic bliss. It has lead to the birth of three beautiful daughters and we’ve had our ups and downs in that time (that phrase by the way is a contender for Understatement of the Millennia).
Wedding anniversaries are good times to remember what it was that makes a marriage a success and if ours has been it’s been because we remember that love supreme exhibited in a man who would die for His Bride compelling us both to learn to sacrificially love each other. Sometimes I forget and so this song is dedicated to the fact that my heart belongs to one woman and one woman alone – my heart belongs to the love of my life on earth Mrs Authrine Elizabeth Dryden. So if ever I forget … you know … kinda … charge it to my … ahhh you can hear the song for yourself.
For His Name’s Sake
Shalom
