First it’s good to hear someone who is an accomplished songwriter in his own right have a go at someone else’s masterpiece. That’s something that I like about the gospel field that there is (or should be) a great enjoyment of doing other people’s material, because there’s an appreciation that whatever connects people with God is good enough material, there’s no need to be too precious with what you have put together, because it all comes from the same source.
Not only that but there’s the generosity of spirit to share the stage with the writer of the third song who is in himself a gifted vocalist and then to add the young man on the block.
All in all another good reason to enjoy this gospel music deal.
