Greater Is He In Me – The Crabb Family

I forget.  I have to acknowledge that.  Due to that independent aspect of my character that needs to have all the answers and be the top dog, it’s not as yet automatic to remember, but there are reminders like this.

The issue I forget is that the scripture informs me that that greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world.  I understand that to mean every other force known to man and the spiritual realm is overcome by He who lives in me.  It’s unfair then for the enemy to oppose me, but I reckon he still doesn’t get it, quite yet and whilst there’s still breathe in my body he has to have a go.  Despite that though the fact remains that the Almighty Creator of the entire universe, within and yet beyond time incarnate in the Son Jesus Christ has left the deposit of His Holy Spirit in me to reassure me that He is on my side to assure victory in every circumstance that I walk into as led by Him.

That’s good to know in life’s difficult circumstances.  That reminds me of the element of warfare, but being a peace-maker as well it reminds me that the battle was won long ago on a hill far away where stood the old rugged cross.  Now the small matter of seeing those victories in life’s journey.
