Somebody talks about classics and legends, but in my life whenever it’s come to gospel music the name that has summed that up more than any other is Andrae Crouch. I’d love to read his biography and I’d love someone to do a proper documentary on the guy because his legacy, character and story is fascinating. There can be no doubting the discography that the brother leaves behind that if anyone wrote half the songs of that power and longevity you’d be happy.
The reason I choose this particular song is because it says what the heart of Christian faith proclaims and what the hands of Christian practice should work out whils the mouth of Christian voice should declare in the glare of alternate perspectives.
For His Name’s Sake
