I’m not in Christmas – you know that, I know that, we all know that. But I remember when I moved to Stoke-on-Trent coming across the album version of this song and I realised I didn’t have to compromise my stance on Christmas to enjoy a good Christmas song with a great sentiment and of course with it being in the April there’s no hint of recrimination about timing or anything. When you also consider it’s a time of new birth for me and the family and weigh those factors together then you have a very good reason to celebrate new life as we do whenever we think of the mission of Jesus Christ.
Plus it’s about time Jon Gibson had more representation on this here blog!!
