How’s Authrine Watch – Part One

As you maybe aware Mrs Dryden – the heart and soul of the Dryden household, the love of my life who is of course my wife – is scheduled to deliver the third Dryden child of the marital union.  (Someone once said I had a way with words, I know it’s a double edged compliment, because some people just reckon I should cut fo the chase, but then you miss out on all the scenery, and hey, this is my blog, if you don’t like the scenery, you don’t get the good stuff.)

In any case due to a number of complications she’s been scheduled to deliver earlier than initially expected … like this kinda early and as I type it now she could well be hours … perhaps even minutes away from the delivery.

This then will form the first update on matters.  She’s currently admitted into the Royal Bolton Hospital being looked after by some really cool staff and she’s managing alright at present.  Although the nature of her situation literally means she could be busting out the baby soon.  (Like the use of the medical terminology?  Too me ages to get a hold of it.)

Also to let you know that you should be able to get the first official photos of the newborn baby LIVE on this blog first.  Yes that’s right, the exclusive rights to the first photos will be here on this blog – it’s a huge deal that I’ve been able to negotiate by the fact that hey I’m the father of the child, Authrine won’t have access to anything to publicise the first photos.  (Remember he who has control of the mobile phones, has control of the communications!  (Cue maniacal laughter and cunning grin that begs the question – who da man?))
