Rooted

Ever considered your roots?  Not just family and cultural heritage, but where you are planted?  What are you sunk into and as a result where do you feel in the place of greatest belonging?  Sometimes we go through life rootless and wander searching for places to plug in.  Social groups and cultural settings like the workplace are tried.  Maybe the club, join the gym or the local pub.  For all this, though, it doesn’t always answer roots.  Discovering this by exploring viable places to be planted goes a long way to finding meaning in life.  So where are your roots?

He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. (Psalm 1:3)
