Nourishing Streams

Refreshing StreamsLife can really be brilliant.  Oxygen is just one of a number of other chemicals and resources required for the body to function.  Similarly we can get fed by different streams of influence – what we watch or listen, the friends we knock about with, interests and hobbies.  It’s good to reflect sometimes on what the different sources contribute to life.  Some of them enhance, some of them are detrimental.  Looking at people who do well in life can also give us a clue to what streams can enrich us.  So what streams nourish you?

 

He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. (Psalm 1:3)
